In late summer of 2006, Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company was selected by the Texas Medical Center Laundry Cooperative as its partner in the largest laundry construction project ever undertaken in Houston, Texas.

The cooperative currently serves 11 hospitals and processes over 24 million lbs annually. However, to allow for the dynamic growth of the Texas Medical Center, the 80,000 square foot facility was built out to process in excess of 50 million lbs annually. Pellerin was charged to design a “Super Efficient”, and “State of the Art” laundry facility. Many companies were given an opportunity to participate, but in the end, the cooperative asserted that only Pellerin Laundry Machinery could deliver a true “Turn Key” solution for a project of this magnitude.
